Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you of an upcoming Urgent Scheduled maintenance activity that will be performed on the following F5 service: - F5 Distributed Cloud Regional Edge
Maintenance Window: Start Time: 27 Sep 2026 02:30 UTC End Time: 27 Sep 2026 04:30 UTC
Projected Impact Traffic Redirection — All traffic currently served by the Ashburn (dc12-ash) Regional Edge site will be automatically redistributed to adjacent Regional Edge sites for the duration of the maintenance window.
Potential Performance Degradation — Customers with configurations that have explicit dependencies on the Ashburn (dc12-ash) Regional Edge site may experience transient latency increases or degraded performance while traffic is served from alternate Regional Edge sites.
No Customer Edge (CE) Downtime — CE services and customer applications will continue to operate normally. All CE workloads will be served seamlessly from other Regional Edge sites with no service interruption.
Configuration Propagation Delays — Configuration updates from the Global Controller (GC) to the Ashburn Regional Edge site may be delayed during the maintenance window.
Reason for Maintenance: Perform a hot fix for routed ddos service.
