Update
Dear Valued Customers,
This is a follow-up to our previously shared notice regarding the upcoming Urgent Scheduled maintenance for F5 Distributed Cloud Regional Edge.
Update: As part of this maintenance window, new WAF signatures will also be deployed.
Maintenance Window: Start Time: 06 Jun 2026 02:00 UTC End Time: 07 Jun 2026 08:00 UTC
Regional Cluster Schedules : - Jun 6th 02:00 to Jun 06th 08:00 - B-London, Toronto - Jun 7th 02:00 to Jun 07th 08:00 - B-New York, B-Mumbai
Note: The start time for each cluster is strictly dependent on the successful completion of the previous one. If a cluster finishes ahead of or behind schedule, the start time for the subsequent clusters will be adjusted accordingly, advancing or delaying the entire subsequent schedule by the same duration.
Reference: SDCCAB-4181
Projected Impact: 1. Customers who have created hard-coded dependencies for Regional Edge site may encounter a service interruption during this window. 2. Services and applications should remain unaffected and will continue to be served from other Regional Edges within the same region. 3. The tunnel from the Customer Edge (CE) to the Regional Edge (RE) will be unavailable, resulting in delays in propagating user configurations. However, the secondary tunnel will remain operational. Rest assured, Customer Edge (CE) services and applications will not experience any downtime during this maintenance window. 4. We advise all F5 Distributed Cloud customers to configure staging settings for attack signatures and establish WAF exclusion rules for signatures associated with load balancers.
Reason for Maintenance: This maintenance will implement updates designed to improve system stability and performance. To ensure consistent operation, a brief component restart will be required. In addition, new WAF signatures will be deployed as part of this maintenance window.
Our Commitment: We will provide timely updates should there be any changes to the schedule or if unexpected issues arise.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to improve our services.
Sincerely, F5 Distributed Cloud
