Projected Impact: During the maintenance window, configuration changes made in the F5 Distributed Cloud Console will continue to be saved and propagated normally, except for a brief delay in propagation while platform management services are upgraded. Customer Edge (CE) health metrics may be temporarily unavailable in the dashboard, and access to the F5 Distributed Cloud Console may be intermittently disrupted. Any Console access interruptions are expected to be brief, with access restored automatically as the upgrade progresses.
Additionally, F5 Distributed Cloud DNS is built with high availability and redundancy; therefore, no widespread service impact is expected during this maintenance window. However, there is a slight possibility that a small number of DNS requests may encounter intermittent failures.
Reason for Maintenance: This maintenance activity involves software upgrades to the F5 Distributed Cloud Global Controller logging, metrics, and analytics services, as well as the DNS service, aimed at improving overall platform stability, performance, and reliability.
